Eylure 101's
I thought I'd start my first 'beauty' blog post about the most relevent topic in relation to my blog name 'fluttering eyelashes' ...fake eyelashes.
Firstly I need to thank my friend Nicole for introducing these to me, I now cannot go on a night out without them and have endless fights and arguments with them looking in the mirror attempting to put them on most Saturday nights... 'omg im gonna throw these out the window any minute if they don't behave!'
I never used to think that fake eyelashes were for me, I was always aware of the disasters that feature on programmes such as 'Snog, Marry, Avoid' but the Eylure 101's are part of the 'naturalites' range so aren't too dramatic and obvious, both of which I hate!
I find I have to cut the end off both of them just so they fit my eye properly, nothing worse than the corner digging into the corner of your tear duct every single time you blink so it's important to make sure they're comfortable before you commit to sticking them on for the evening!
The glue that comes in the package is really long-lasting and I've never had any situations so far where they've come off (touch wood).
To apply them I find the easiest way is to apply the glue to the strip leave it to go 'tacky' for about 20-30 seconds then stick them on using tweezers and a small mirror for guidance, then apply lots of mascara to help 'blend' them in.
I bought these ones from Tesco for £5 but I'm pretty sure they are on a 3 for 2 offer on at both Boots & Superdrug right now :-)
Have you tried fake eyelashes before? Which ones are your favourite?

I've never actually tried fake eyelashes, although I've considered it quite a few times - I'm quite lucky though, as I have very long/thick lashes anyway. I might be tempted by something as natural as this, though! xx
